Land Clearing & Forestry Mulching in Maumelle, Arkansas
Tree lines pushed back and wooded lots taken down to a clean finish, with no burn piles and no haul-off. Free walk-the-property estimates: (501) 208-6399.
Maumelle was drawn up on purpose. Greenbelts, lakes, trails, wide parkways, yards that stay mowed. The woods never got the memo. If your place backs up to a tree line, a greenbelt, or the bayou, the brush moves a little closer every year, until the back third of your lot belongs to privet and vines instead of you. We take it back: ground down where it stands, finished clean, with an edge that looks like it was always meant to be there.
Forestry mulching does most of the work in a town like this. The machine grinds standing brush and scrub trees into a tight mulch layer right where they grew. Nothing burns, nothing gets stacked, no debris trucks rolling past your neighbors. When a job needs more, stumps out, pad cut, grade set, we pull up with our own excavators, dozers, and skid steers. Every piece of iron on the job belongs to us, so the date we give you is the date we show up.
Cost, straight up: forestry mulching projects start at $2,500. If what you've got is smaller than that, we'll tell you on the phone and save you the meeting. Estimates are free; Austin Brice, the owner, walks the ground with you and quotes the job standing on it, not off a satellite photo. Call (501) 208-6399. During business hours, Austin typically calls back within 10 minutes.
Planned City, Unplanned Brush
Maumelle sits on river-bottom ground on the north side of the Arkansas River, with White Oak Bayou and its wetlands along the north end of town. River-bottom dirt grows brush fast, and not the kind of growth the chamber of commerce brags about. It pushes up privet, sweetgum sprouts, and vine mats quick; cut it by hand in March and it's waist high again by August. Mulching changes the math. The chip layer it leaves smothers a good share of what tries to return, and the next knockdown is a short visit, not a do-over.
The middle of town is mostly built out, so clearing work in Maumelle splits two ways. Inside the city it's the wooded lots that never got built on, backyards losing ground to the greenbelt, and lake and bayou edges that need the understory thinned without losing the big timber. North of town, the White Oak Crossing interchange put I-40 on Maumelle's doorstep, and that raw ground is the direction the city has room to grow. We're set up for both. Our shop is in Hattieville, in Conway County, right at an hour out, nearly all of it interstate, and I-40 is ground we already work: right-of-way clearing on Arkansas highways is part of our contract book. Licensed and insured, and the finish meets the standard this town holds.

What We Clear in Maumelle
Tree Lines That Keep Creeping
Plenty of Maumelle lots back up to woods, a greenbelt, or the bayou, and the edge never stays put. We move that edge back to where you want it, grind everything in place, and leave a straight line you can mow right up to.
Keep the Shade, Lose the Tangle
Cleaning up a wooded lot doesn't mean scalping it. We mulch the privet, vines, and saplings out from under your mature hardwoods, so you keep the shade and the park look and lose the ticks, snakes, and tangle.
Brush That's Back by August
Bottomland brush comes back fast and thick. One pass grinds it flat, and the mulch bed it leaves slows the regrowth, so staying ahead of it turns into light maintenance instead of a losing fight.
The Last Wooded Lots in Town
Maumelle's remaining wooded lots won't sit empty forever. We take one from standing timber to build-ready dirt: clearing, stump removal, pad, rough grade, one crew and our own machines the whole way through.
Acreage Out by the Interchange
Holding ground near White Oak Crossing, or about to put something on it? We clear it to whatever stage you need, brush knocked down or dirt work done, and it stays presentable while you decide.
Every Service, One Crew
We bring our own equipment to every Maumelle job: forestry mulching, land clearing, and site development. No subcontractors, no rental delays.
"We appreciate everything you've done. It looks like a different place! We will be recommending you, and we will call you back the next time we need anything done!"
