Sherwood is creek country. Bayou Meto starts as a handful of creeks in this corner of Pulaski County, and the low ground between neighborhoods holds water long enough to grow brush faster than anybody can cut it by hand. Lots backing up to those creeks and draws stay damp most of the year; privet and willow take damp ground first and give it back last.
