Land Clearing and Forestry Mulching in North Little Rock, AR

Overgrown lot north of the river? We grind the trees and brush where they stand and leave you clean, buildable ground. Free estimates, straight answers: (501) 208-6399.

North Little Rock is full of lots that finished one life and never started the next. Trees grow up through old slabs, privet takes the fence line, and ten years of nobody caring turns a buildable lot into a wall of green. Maybe you bought it at auction. Maybe you've owned it since it last saw a mower. Either way the fix is the same: clear it to clean dirt and start over. That's the work.

Forestry mulching grinds trees, brush, and saplings where they stand and leaves the chips as ground cover. No burn pile, which matters inside city limits. No convoy of dump trucks running your street all day. When the job needs dirt work, we handle site development too: stumps out, grading, building pads cut. Excavators, mulchers, dozers, and skid steers, all ours, kept at our own shop, so there's no rental delay and no wrong machine on your job.

And since you're wondering about cost, here it is up front. Forestry mulching projects start at a $2,500 minimum. The estimate is free: Austin Brice walks the property with you, looks at what's actually growing out there, and hands you a real number before any machine gets loaded. Call (501) 208-6399. During business hours, he typically calls back within 10 minutes.

The Ground in North Little Rock

North Little Rock is two kinds of ground under one city name. Down along the Arkansas River sits old bottomland: flat, soft after a wet week, and quick to come back in willow, hackberry, and privet the minute nobody's watching. Climb toward the Park Hill ridge and out past Camp Robinson, and it turns into rolling, wooded ground with oak, sweetgum, and cedar thicket. A mulcher handles both without stripping your topsoil, and on a tight city lot it does it without stacking debris at the curb. That matters in older neighborhoods like Levy and Rose City, where lots are getting their second house instead of their first.

The commercial side is the same story with more zeros on it. Frontage along US 67/167 and I-40 is worth more when drivers can see it, and brush doesn't care what the appraisal said. We clear right-of-way along Arkansas interstates and highways under contract, so working next to live traffic is routine for us, not a special event. Our shop sits in Hattieville, Conway County, about an hour up I-40. We won't pretend that's around the corner. But we work across all of Arkansas with extra focus on Central Arkansas, and Pulaski County sits square in the middle of that. You get a date and a price, and we keep both.

What We Clear in North Little Rock

Vacant Lots Getting a Second House

A vacant lot in town grows different junk than a pasture: volunteer trees through old concrete, privet at head height, vines over everything. We mulch it in place and leave a lot a builder can actually walk. No burn pile, no neighbor complaints, no hauling bill.

Wooded Ground Near Camp Robinson

Wooded ground on the north side thickens up fast. We do selective clearing: keep the hardwoods you want, grind the cedar and underbrush you don't, and open the place up so you can finally see your own land and put it to use.

Flip Houses With Jungle Backyards

Investors buy the house and inherit the yard. If the back half is a privet wall with a shed lost somewhere in it, we reset the whole lot to clean ground before your contractor starts billing hours to fight brush.

Commercial Frontage Drivers Can See

Commercial ground is worth more when traffic can see it. We clear brush and trees off highway frontage along 67/167 and I-40 and prep the site for whatever comes next. We run right-of-way clearing on Arkansas highways under contract, so working beside traffic is routine.

Property Lines Lost in the Brush

When brush takes the boundary, arguments follow. We strip fence lines and property edges back to bare ground so the surveyor can find pins, the fence crew can work, and everybody knows where the line is again.

Every Service, One Crew

We bring our own equipment to every North Little Rock job: forestry mulching, land clearing, and site development. No subcontractors, no rental delays.

"I really loved working with you all and plan on having you come back!"
