Land Clearing & Forestry Mulching in Little Rock, AR
Commercial pads, acreage homesites, infill lots: cleared to bare ground on a date you can plan around. Free estimates. Call (501) 208-6399.
An overgrown lot in Little Rock is money standing still. A commercial pad that can't show, an infill lot collecting notice letters, ten wooded acres west of town that nobody can walk: none of it moves until the land is clear. That's the work we do. Trees down, stumps out, brush mulched, ground ready, so you can build, sell, or break ground on whatever comes next.
Brice Contracting is a land clearing and site development company based in Hattieville, about an hour up I-40 from Little Rock, working all over Arkansas. Owner Austin Brice is licensed and insured, and the equipment is ours: excavators, forestry mulchers, bulldozers, skid steers. On a commercial timeline, that's the whole ballgame. If a dozer needs to be on your site Monday, it's our dozer, and it shows up Monday. Nobody else's schedule, nobody else's excuses.
Pricing is straightforward. Forestry mulching projects start at $2,500; below that, the machine costs more to move than the job is worth. Estimates are free, and we'd rather walk the property with you than bid off an aerial photo. Call (501) 208-6399 and you'll get a straight answer on price and timing.
Foothills on One Side of Town, Bottomland on the Other
Little Rock sits right where the Ouachita foothills run into the Delta flats, and the land changes fast from one side of town to the other. West of the city, out toward Pinnacle Mountain, Roland, Ferndale, and Lake Maumelle, lots turn rocky and sloped, with thick loblolly pine and hardwood. Pretty country, hard clearing: steep grades and rock will eat the wrong machine. South and east, along Fourche Creek and the Arkansas River, it's flat bottomland that holds water, and clearing it wrong creates a drainage problem you'll be fixing for years. We match the machine to the dirt: mulchers on the slopes, dozers and excavators where stumps and roots have to come out.
The market math is just as plain. Pulaski County is the biggest commercial market in Arkansas, and ready dirt moves faster than raw dirt. A cleared pad shows better to a tenant. A mulched five acres lets a builder walk the lot lines instead of guessing at them. An infill lot stops being a liability the day the brush is gone. Whether you're holding investor land, prepping a commercial site, or cutting an estate lot out of the trees west of town, clearing is the cheapest dollar you'll spend to make every other dollar move.

What We Clear in Little Rock
Commercial Site Prep
Pads, parking, storage yards, ground-up retail. We take a wooded parcel down to dirt and handle the rough grading behind it, with our own excavators and dozers on your schedule, not a rental yard's.
Estate and Acreage Homesites
Buying trees west of town and carving out a homesite? We clear the build pad and driveway corridor, then mulch the rest so it reads like a park instead of a thicket. You keep the trees you want.
Infill Lots
Overgrown city lots draw complaints, dumping, and notice letters. We clear them to clean ground so the lot stops being a problem and starts being worth something.
Investor and Listing Prep
Raw land sells faster when a buyer can actually walk it. Mulching the underbrush opens up sight lines and lot lines, and it usually costs less than the price cut you'd take on land nobody can see.
Right-of-Way and Easement Clearing
We hold right-of-way clearing contracts along Arkansas interstates and highways. Private easements, fence lines, and utility corridors across Pulaski County get the same crews and the same standard.
Every Service, One Crew
We bring our own equipment to every Little Rock job: forestry mulching, land clearing, and site development. No subcontractors, no rental delays.
"Thank you so much for the work you did on our land! You helped us see what is possible by giving us space to create. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family!"
