Land Clearing in Hattieville, AR, From the Shop Down the Road
The shop is on Timbercreek Road and the machines sleep here. When cedar takes your pasture or the fence line disappears, you're calling a neighbor, not a service area.
Plenty of land clearing outfits will tell you they serve Hattieville. For us, Hattieville is the address on the shop. Brice Contracting works out of 3 Timbercreek Rd, the machines park here every night, and the ground you're trying to get back looks exactly like the ground around us: cedar walking into the pasture, a few trees a year, fence rows swallowed up in brush and sweetgum, timber edges that have crept so far into the field you've lost acres you used to hay.
If you want that ground back, call (501) 208-6399. Austin Brice will walk the property with you, free, and give you a straight number before anything starts. Forestry mulching projects start at $2,500. We put that here on the page because nobody likes finding out a minimum exists after the handshake. If your job comes in under it, Austin will tell you so on the walk, and you'll have lost nothing but an hour.
Every machine on the job is ours: excavators, forestry mulchers, bulldozers, skid steers, all bought and maintained out of the same shop. We're licensed and insured, we work all of Arkansas with most of it in Central and Northwest Arkansas, and we clear right-of-way along interstates and highways under contract. But the jobs closest to home carry extra weight: we drive past this ground every day, so the work has to look right.
The Ground We Live On
Hattieville sits in the hill country north of Morrilton, about 15 minutes up from town, where the river-valley flats start breaking into ridges and hollows. This is cattle and hay ground mixed with hardwood timber, and it does not stay clean on its own. Skip a couple of years of brush-hogging and cedar seeds in thick. Blackberry and sweetgum take the fence rows first, then the field edges, and the woods move ten feet further into the pasture every season. Forestry mulching was built for exactly this fight. The mulcher grinds cedar and brush where it stands, leaves the chips down as cover, and the grass comes back instead of the gullies.
Being based here changes how a job goes. The machines start their day on Timbercreek Road, not on a lowboy coming up I-40 from somewhere else, and the estimate is a short drive, not a scheduling event. Morrilton is about 15 minutes from the shop, Russellville about 30, Conway about 35, and the Little Rock metro about an hour, so the whole middle of the state is in reach. But the stretch up Highway 95 and 213, out toward Center Ridge, Cleveland, Jerusalem, and Solgohachia, is the home stretch. If your place is on it, you're not hiring a company that found Hattieville on a map. You're hiring the one that gets its mail here.

What We Clear in Hattieville
Cedar Coming Up in the Pasture
Cedar doesn't ask permission. A few volunteers turn into a stand, and every one of them is stealing water and grass from your cattle. We mulch them where they stand, big ones and small ones, and leave the ground covered instead of cratered. No burn piles waiting on a wet week.
Fence Lines You Can Walk Again
A fence you can't see is a fence you can't fix. We grind out the brush, briars, and sweetgum on both sides of the line so you can string new wire, find your corners, or check cattle without a machete.
Squaring Up the Hayfield
Field edges creep. Give the woods ten years and they'll take a tractor pass off every side of the hayfield. We mulch the edge back to where it belongs, square up the field, and you get paid back in bales every cutting after.
A Build Spot on Family Land
Putting a house, shop, or barn on ground the family already owns beats buying a lot in town. We clear the spot, grub the stumps, and handle the dirt work with our own dozers and excavators, so the pad is ready when the builder shows up.
Too Rough to Mow
Every place has one: the old thicket too rough to mow and too big to tackle by hand. A mulcher makes short work of what a weekend and a chainsaw never could. Tell Austin what you want it to look like and he'll tell you what it takes.
Every Service, One Crew
We bring our own equipment to every Hattieville job: forestry mulching, land clearing, and site development. No subcontractors, no rental delays.
"I really loved working with you all and plan on having you come back!"
